Over the summer this year we sadly saw the closure of seven Dublin city centre weekend markets. Enough is enough – we need to act.
We want our markets to be supported by Dublin’s policy makers and for markets to be protected and valued for the benefits they bring to the city, its residents and visitors.

This year we’ve been really struggling, we lost our venue for the monthly market and have no guaranteed venue for the Christmas market in 2019 and beyond. We are working really hard but but we’re coming up against the same obstacles again and again. We’ve realised that for a thriving market scene to exist in the city, we need to make change happen at a higher level.
